Another scene from H.P.Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness", part of a series of about the City of the Elder Things.
Starting to explore the crumbling ruined buildings in the City of the Elder Things. Black, decayed and half-buried in glacial ice, the looming apertures exposed little but a cold, staring menace. Once inside the crumbling, frost-caked edifice though, hints of alien arabesques were dimly visible on segments of inner wall that had stood protected from immemorial erosion. 14x10" @ 300dpi.
