Another scene from H.P.Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness", part of a series of about the City of the Elder Things.
Some of Dyer and Danforth's equipment resting in the dust and ice of one of the ruined rampart buildings as they explore their way down towards the monsterous city below. The building has been blasted open to the elements by millennia of erosion but crumbling traces of the Elder Things' arabesques and dot-group cartouches remain on the walls. 14x10" @ 300dpi See the whole series here and the rest of my Lovecraft-related work here.
